This position is responsible for the configuration administration and monitoring of Serena ChangeMan Change Control Products and Change Action product for the MVS mainframe change control environment. The configuration, administration and monitoring of the Remedy Change request tool for managing various requests for both hardware and software related changes across the IT department. Change calendar scheduling and meeting coordination with agenda development, project management and software developer interaction. Other responsibilities include ISPF Dialog Management customizations, ChangeMan and Remedy Product training and Crystal report generation.
Formulate system scope and objectives.
Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems using data processing, keeping in mind the capacity and limitations of the equipment, operating time, and form of desired results.
Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems and analysis and programming, but also has duties of instructing, directing, and checking the work of other applications systems analysis/programming personnel.
Provide quality assurance reviews. Act as a project leader for a mergers/acquisition programming team.
Bachelor''s Degree (BA, BS, etc.) in IT or a related field required with Five (5) years of software configuration management experience. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.

The Sr. Programmer Analyst must have strong requirements gathering, project scoping and analytical leadership skills in maintaining and supporting multiple applications and deadlines. The position is responsible for executing all aspects of application development work efforts including project analysis, requirements gathering, technical specification, development/build, unit testing, end user acceptance testing, production deployment and post-implementation support. The position will require someone who can work on ad-hoc requests as an individual performer. On larger projects the programmer will work with the assigned project manager in design, execution and delivery.
Requirements (3-5 years experience):
Proficient in Spark
Thorough coding skills in Scala, Python, Linux
Good knowledge on Structured and unstructured Data Models
Efficient in understanding the Infrastructure, Software Architecture and other Technicalities of the Big Data Platform, Cloud Computing, HDFS and Hadoop system applications
Knowledge of SQL and No SQL databases
Experience developing, maintaining and supporting batch jobs/processes
Ability to work with internal teams and vendors on APIs, file transfers or other interfaces
Experience with code management tools and change control processes
Strong analytical and communication/presentation skills
Experience with agile methodology
Good communication skills oral and written
Ability to write and execute test plans
